Berkeley Defeats Bishop O'Dowd For the First Time Since 2014-2015 Season!

None of the current players were at Berkeley High School since the last time Berkeley defeated Bishop O'Dowd. That is because the last time Berkeley defeated BOD was January 19, 2015, with a result of 3-2. There have been many close games and heartbreaks since that victory with three draws and four defeats. Over four years later, Berkeley finally got the result. In a close, spirited game, Berkeley found the result with a victory of 1-0 over O'Dowd. The lone goal came in the 25th minute by Rayna Carter that started from a free kick from Leah Freeman where she crossed a ball well over 60 yards. Berkeley hung on tight to get the win and move themselves into first place of league with four games to go. The Jackets improve their record to 10-3-1 and are looking for their first league title since 2013-14. Go Jackets!
